Hi. My name is Rosslyn and I am a UK Athletics Event Group Endurance Coach and an Athletics Coach.
I took up running on a regular basis about 10 years ago and as a member of a local road running club take part in races from 5k up to Marathon distance. My job as a primary school teacher means that I enjoy helping others to learn and find out what they can achieve. Learning to coach was the ideal opportunity to share my love of running with others and help them to be the best runners they can be.
I coach at the Junior section of my running club on a weekly basis and through the local Athletics Network coach in schools including an older girls "couch to 5k" session. I have also coached a number of adults on a 1:1 basis and hold group training sessions at the local Athletics track.
Coaching runners means that I am always trying to find new ideas and read running books and articles on a regular basis. I also attend workshops and coach training sessions to keep my knowledge up to date. Recent courses attended include Movement skills and Functional Running Assessment and Gait Re-Education.
My passion is running and trying to be the best runner I can be and I would like to help you become the best runner that you can be.
